Our Origin​
Our environmental group, Council on Environmental Standards, was founded through first hand field experience. We repeatedly witnessed construction companies servicing equipment, spilling oils and fuels directly onto the soil, and simply covering it up—with no concern for cleanup or environmental impact. Seeing gallons of petroleum products discharged into the ground without accountability set us in motion to lead real, meaningful change.
